In the new version of the CellAtlas app you can learn more about Other Findings in Peripheral Blood such as Auer Rods, Sezary Cells and Toxic Granulation. You will also find some nice improvements to CellQuiz which allows you to advance in your cell morphology quest.

CellAtlas can be downloaded to your iPhone or Android.

CellQuiz championship in Atlanta

We were glad to see that so many of you joined our first ever CellQuiz competition at AACC. The contestants tested their morphology skills by matching cell class to the right cell image in just 60 sec. Congratulations to Alfonso Ziccardi, Assistant Manager AP/CP Hematology at the New York Hospital Queens, who scored highest and thereby won a brand new iPad.

Alfonso receives the iPad from CellaVision representative Kenneth Childs.
