What you saw was G-6-P-D deficiency in crisis. Blood film showed acute drop in Hb with increased polychromasia, spherocytes, target cells, bite cells irregularily contracted cells and increased numbers of nucleated RBC.
There were numerous Heinz bodies in the Heinz body stain test. Bilirubin 462 (normal <300)
